B.R.O. Membership

Membership with Brothers Reaching Out (B.R.O.) is open to anyone, gender, and race attending Franklin Pierce College. While enrolled at Franklin Pierce, you are required to fulfill these checkpoints listed below to stay in B.R.O.

 Qualifications for Membership of B.R.O.

?         All B.R.O. members must be in good Academic and Social standing at the college.

?         B.R.O. members must regularly attend and participate in the club’s meetings and activities. The club encourages the members to attend all meetings and activities. In absence, the B.R.O. shall notify another member or call the club voice mail to notify the executive board of their absence.

?         All B.R.O. members shall participate in club committees.

?         Consistent with all applicable federal and state laws, and MSOE policies, B.R.O. and its subordinate bodies and officers shall not discriminate for or against anyone on the basis of race, gender, religion, culture, or sexual orientation.

?         Active members must attend 2/3 of the club’s meetings within a semester.

?         Members of B.R.O. shall possess a clear understanding of the B.R.O. constitution and indicate it by reading and signing the attached membership form that verifies the member’s knowledge of the constitution’s content.

 

The Responsibilities of B.R.O. Members

?         Members shall be active participants in all B.R.O. meetings and activities.

?         Members shall assist the executive board or committees chairs in planning and organizing events.

?         Members shall participate in on-campus and off-campus leadership opportunities.

 

These are guidelines that B.R.O. follow.
